RE: PCAFC June 1 Caregiver Stipend
As we approach the holiday weekend, it was imperative for Veteran Warriors leadership to seek clarity for the veteran caregiver community regarding June stipends. Caregiver Support Program staff quickly responded to our Executive Director's communications regarding the community's concerns and empathized with the community the program serves. It was relayed that all stipends had been sent out to Treasury and were expected to be processed without issue, on time for every caregiver in the program and receiving benefits. In a subsequent question to further settle concerns, it was also confirmed that stipends would not be canceled, rescinded, or retracted.
Overall, the veteran caregiver community can breathe a little easier this weekend. The Caregiver Support Program leadership has ensured stipends have been processed and given their word of no retraction. Per our Executive Director, if you do not have your stipend by the end of next week, contact our caregiver team, and she will reach out to the one who processes stipends to place an inquiry.

Additionally, we would like to thank the program's directors for their work to make improvements; if our director trusts their word, so do we. And, finally, being Memorial Day weekend, may we all honor and remember the sacrifices of those who gave all -- don't forget their families who also made that sacrifice.
